Bio

Currently, I am a master's student and Central Washington University. I am using the Magma Chamber Simulator (MCS) to better understand the origin of giant plagioclase in the Steens Basalt, SE Oregon. For this project, the first mass and energy-balanced thermodynamic study of these plagioclase, and I am testing a hypothesis that the origin of these crystals is linked to entrainment of a gabbroic cumulate/mush. In my free time I love climbing and mountain biking!
