Guy Brown is a physicist and lead architect of the MCS software development team. Early career specialization in magnetics research and thin film deposition and its characterization, led to coding assignments for factory floor control systems with a specialty in wafer fabrication facility instrumentation. Latterly Guy has been employed as a developer for a successful business software company and has become an expert in financial reporting systems, database management, and cloud based web development. Guy has worked on geochemical and petrologic software development with Spera and Bohrson for over twenty years and, due to his association with geologists can now proudly distinguish gabbro from granite and a feldspathoid from a phyllosilicate much to the amazement of his friends. When not writing intricate code, Brown sings classic Rock and Roll tunes in local Santa Barbara bands and officiates soccer matches.
